@Mariposa2707 You're straining your neck, just relax, make sure you try and point your chin towards your chest.

I've been using these videos since February and I'm very pleased with the results. They are some of the most effective Pilates videos I've ever come across.

I realize that you made this comment two months ago, but I think I know why your neck hurts. When you lift up, do you lift up with your abdominals or your neck? Because your abdominals are supposed to be working while your neck is resting. Do you get what I'm saying? What you're doing is basically holding your head up with your neck instead of your abdominals.

I use to put my hands together behind the neck, holdin it gentle for stability. Just do the leg exercise as the same.
I love these videos...I'm a teenager and I used to hate exercise but now I dance 2 days a week, Jog 2-3 days a week and do pilates (i always thought what I was doing was a form of stretching but it was pilates all along!) in whatever other time i have free and because of all of that i am now stronger and thinner having lost almost 25 kilos in 15 months! I love it!!!

I am a jogger and usually do weight lifting for toning and endless crunches for my abs. I have been doing these videos and a pilates band workout video I purchased at Dicks and the results are mind-boggling. I have had more results with pilates in a month than I thought possible. I am lean and stronger than ever. I also reduced my jogging from 5-6 days a week to 3-4 days. I always thought you had to get beat up to get a beneficial workout. I was wrong. I am now a pilates believer.
