Are you kidding? He talks constantly about how he has extensive documentation in all of his writings... If you are telling the same old story in service of power, then you can say whatever you want without any documentation whatsoever. But if you question assumptions in opposition of power, like Chomsky does, then the standards of proof are very high. Read any of his books and you will find references that number in the hundreds in one chapter.
