  • post the whole film at once!

  • I want to, and I might

  • There are so many terrific quotes from this film you would have to show the whole thing to get them in. "New Leaf" is one of the greatest unrecognized comedies of all time.

"In a land where every man is what he owns, he who owns very little is nobody very much"

  • I completely agree

  • THANK YOU!

  • You're welcome!

  • one of the best movies ever

i love walter matthau and elaine may:-))))))

  • Watched this w/my dad years ago and we laughed our asses off. One scene not shown has Henry looking for available wealthy women. One rather busty one attempts to unleash her charms w/Henry screaming. What a Hoot!!!

  • I wish someone would post the whole film, bits are not very funny compared to the whole film.

  • You left out the funniest part!

    "I'm poor"

  • some of the people that do not like this movie, expecially the first half, are the heirs and lottery winners, who squandered their money, i know two people personally that should be worth over a million, and they blame their parents for allowing them to spend the trust fund,,lol

  • "Buy a Bentley and stop carrying on."

    "How dare you!"

    My favorite line.

  • Jack Richie's story is only 19 pages long but includes the murders. May's original Director's Cut was 180 minutes. Those sections of the Director Cut that survive in this 102 minute version are quite in keeping to the story. I suspect that we'll never see May's version, probably destroyed in the edit room. This is TOO BAD. Like the Venus de Milo we'll just have to content ourselves with what remains. Somewhere I'll bet the original screenplay exists though...

  • @851corsa It's on Flix all day today!

  • Madam, I have seen many examples pf perversion in my time but your erotic obsession with your carpet.... !

    Love it!

  • This movie is great. I saw it today for the first time and I love it.
