Legends racers headed to Concord Speedway (NC) Sunday, September 12th. Winners of the features were Josh Morris (Legends Young Lions), Greg Lang (Legends Semi-Pro), Tyler Lester (Legends Pro) and Charles Kiser (Legends Masters).

The most controversial call seen in a long time at the track occured in the Legends Young Lions feature. After multiple laps of hard racing and lead swapping, including some bumper usage, between Sean Shalvoy and Gray Gaulding, the yellow flag was thrown and the race director pulled both drivers to the side of the track in turn three. After he had a discussion with each driver, who were still strapped in their respective cars, the race director told both drivers to get off the track and head to their haulers, ending their nights.

  • NC for ya their rules are screwed up if they did that stuff at bowman grey nobody care.

  • This is what is killing racing....More and more tracks and different series aren't letting drivers be a contact sport, which really takes the fun out of it for everyone.

It's one thing bumping someone, it's another thing stuffing them in the wall. This might be one of the dumbest calls I have ever seen.

  • GOD FORBID ANYONE BUMP WITH THEIR BUMPER :O

  • it's not clean and it's dumbass driving but they didn't take each other out no need to be parked

  • it wasnt clean racing but thats between the two drivers to settle not the director

  • I've heard lots of BS about this race director and how no one likes him. Oh wait, nevermind, check that, parade director. Nothing bad there. Sure they got a little aggressive but they both seemed to be like "wtf?!" and they weren't turning each other so they had some mutual respect. I say the fans (oh wait, there were none) and racers strike next race and none of them show up until he gets fired. It'll work. if everyone does it. Guaranteed.

  • WOW !!!!!!! Get sent home for racing
