  • at the end of this song was it the lead singer from ac/dc at a very young age? as he matured he sounded more like donald duck...

  • CTA 102 is a quasar that caused a big sensation in the1960's when it was discovered because some astronomers argued that it was a signal from an alien civilization. What a great song, the Byrds flying in outer space.

  • First time i listened this song, I was song. I was happy, i was excited, the music was wonderfull and had a nice swing, then i spaced away in the guitarish solo, I laughed at how awesome it was.... then all of the sudden, there was that strange scary sound, i tript my balls of. Then i almost shat myself.

Havent stopt listening to the byrds since then.

  • the soviet astronomers should have done a little more homework, eh?

  • Whoa.. I just read a book that mentioned this song was based on actual findings from soviet astronomers!.. science never sounded so awesome.

  • @janfreidun Experimentation- sometimes it works and other times it doens't. At least they tried something different.
