Video of activist Naomi Wolf arrested at Occupy Wall Street

Author and activist Naomi Wolf has been added to the list now hundreds of names long of protesters arrested during the ongoing Occupy Wall Street demonstrations. A group of around 50 participants in the movement, including Wolf, had been in attendance outside of a gala that was honoring New York Governor Andrew Cuomo at New York's Skylight Studios. While Gov. Cuomo was being lauded as "Game Changer of the Year" at the awards ceremony, Occupy Wall Street protesters were expressing their detest over the politician's opposition to extending a tax on millionaires and his support of hydraulic fracking.

If this isn't evidence that the OWS movement is looking the wrong way, I don't know what is. Regardless of how big of an asshole a banker is, we can always refuse the banker's services. Unless we are forced, directly or indirectly, to patronize business, we should not be directing our anger at Wall Street. We need someone from the outside, who isn't afraid to expose this whole charade, and we need it now. Ron Paul 2012.
