Beginner students. Ryan-blue shirt has been training with me for nearly 6 months. Mike- white shirt, just a few weeks. And the girl, her first day. At our school we train XingYi, sanda, basic bjj, and Krav maga tactics. WE train hard, and always respect "wu de". Iam constantly evolving and becoming a better martial artist. I cant wait to see what the future hold for me and my students.

  • this isnt fair. blue shirts got lighter gloves

  • @BunnyBUNGALO yeah, well....the guy in white said he wanted to use boxing gloves. Dont know why....but i think he learned his lesson. haa

  • I like the hitting while standing on brick, but well sorry to pester you but what does it really train you for, except striking when you can't get good foot and hip rotation (ie while sitting).

  • basically, the drill teaches to the student to strike with his body, instead of just his arms, even if hes in a tight position, whether its against a wall or standing on a brick. If you can hit hard standing on a small brick, just think what you can do if you want alot of room to move.

  • @kronah fighting ability does not get passed on through the transfer of Qi to one person from another. It is gained and refined through hours of practice. Im not a master. And i never will be. I will always be a student. My xingyi is for health and fighting. This is MY xingyi. My expression. ahmitofo. I hope your training goes well. FYI- Only god can judge me......

  • I'm impressed man, it really seems like you got a good operation going. When your students spar, I can see the Gung Fu there, this is good.

    Impressive knife work too!

  • @crocgator44 I'm sure he did.

  • @Irond3vil2 if you're defending yourself in real life, you have to mix whatever styles you've got to make it out alright.

  • @randyds5

haha you win that arguement! :)

  • @kronah as said by Jun Fan Lee (Bruce Lee) : "there are no masters, there are only students" :D

  • 36 guys who dislike this are MMA fanboys who can't do shit.

  • pls see j_aR5K53I2k

  • Good show guys! I wonder, what kind of knives do you use for training?

Where have you learn this from?

  • @CLFDevil ahmen

  • mixing styles like this, is basically jeet kune do

  • I'm so thrilled to see some people that treat Xing Yi like a real martial art but not just a cultural activity.

I'm a Chinese (I live in Hong Kong), and most Chinese martial artists that train in Chinese martial arts wouldn't do what you guys (and girl) do in the clip.

After all, Xing Yi is about practicality, so keep up the good work!
