The For-Tunes were a band of teenagers (I was the guitar player) who played clubs and pubs in Portsmouth and all over Hampshire/Sussex/Wilts and Dorset during the early '60's. After a number of personnel changes they became 'The Rampant' in 1966 and disbanded in 1967. The soundtrack is a recording made in 1967 at a Surrey studio owned by Bob Potter (now the owner of Lakeside Country Club). Bass player (Fender Prescision) on this track was John Curtis who later went on to record and tour with Gary Moore. Sorry John, I forgot to put you on the video credit roll. I'm on guitar (Telecaster through a Fender Bassman) and my Brother Ken on Drums (Rogers). Ritchie Peters on lead vocal. The For-Tunes/Rampant had a PDR (pre death reunion) last year as can be seen in the colour images. Veronica Lake, the much teased girl singer with the band could not be located for the gathering. If you're out there Jo please get in touch also John as we would love to see you both at the next PDR.
