To experience ourselves as who we really are, an already enlightened soul, we also have to experience who we are not, which includes what you label as "bad".
Can you ever be happy if you never felt sad?
Can you miss something without ever feeling seperated from it?
Can something go up without the possibility to go down?
With dualities comes the possibility to change, and life is constant change.
It is a never ending cycle, and we want to experience the full cycle.

Namaste!! If soul is immortal, then why is it that we're still so ignorant and dumb about spiritual matters. Haven't we had enough existence as to know what's good or bad?? If we are eternal, then it means we had no beginning. Therefore it makes us the most stupid living entities ever.
