Thanks for the information! I'm car shopping now, and wondered why these cars are so inexpensive. This is a car dealerships special! Glad I read more about it after watching the video

@wezlee1982 are you not strong enough to turn a tiny car without power steering? thats really really sad. I bet a computer does your job for you too. Remember when there was no power steering? probably not, but there was a time.

Chevy Cobalt's are the worst car ever! I had a 2006 LT2 and had it for three years it was in the shop multiple times for the sunroof and other issues. One day while driving home from college on a two lane curvy mountain road the power steering went out in the middle of a steep curve. I found myself having to slam on my breaks from not colliding head on with a mountain luckily there was no one behind me. I got the car repaired and traded for a 08 Volvo S40 the next week best decision ever!

It sure would be nice if chevy did a recall on the control arm bushings... All my friends that have/had a cobalt got their bushings replaced before 70k miles. Bad control arm bushings can make a car very unstable on the highway. GM knows about the plethora of suspension problems on these cars. Come on chevy, you're making a lot of your loyal customers very unhappy with these cars.

@classicrock4ev3r Are you stupid, or just trying to sound like it?? If you knew anything about cars,or did some research, you would know newer cars are about ten times more reliable than "older heavy metal DEATH traps"IDIOT!!

Thank you for this video. We called this morning. My son had his whole car shut down late Tues. night and had to veer off the road. Luckily he was not hurt but I was not aware before looking up all of this that there was a problem. I was shocked at how many stories are out there Hundreds!!!It Seems that the bottom line for GM of more important than anyone's safety.I will not let up until we get a resolution .
why is this a safety issue ? you can still drive the car... Some new cars in brasil don't even come with a power steering wheel .
