Here's a baby Barred Owl that tumbled from his perch. He's close to the age of a "brancher", too big to hang out in the nest all the time, but too small to fly. He doesn't have any tail feathers yet. He's off to a local Animal Rehab Center for a steady diet of mice (he ate 16 here) and an opportunity to stretch his wings in a flight cage.
It's quite cute. Good that it didn't panic or struggle.
