I had never heard this song, I was sitting and watching with my parents. My mom said...wow I have NOT heard that song in so long. It used to be played so often, and then it disappeared. I, for one, am so glad I heard it tonight. Amazing! Lesson learned don't forget the people that worked to clear our path. I am blessed to have heard this song. Music to my ears and heart ... <3

His version with THE MIRACLES was much better....ESPECIALLY the LIVE version from their album "1957-1972" . It was released on CD on the album , SMOKEY ROBINSON & THE MIRACLES: THE LIVE COLLECTION. If anyone has THAT version, please post.

Slow version was ok but give me the faster version.... I remember the first time I heard it... Made me want to go out and burn some shit down. Just kidding... man those were some wild days... Smokey's still cool...

I like this slowed-down soulful rendition. I loved the original when it came out back in the day. I have to say, Smokey still has some pretty smooth vocals.
