Jb deadlifts 365lbs for 23 reps

  • That is some hard and impressive lifting, but I would call it a set of 9, a set of 4 and so forth with very little rest. Also, why don't you wear shorts?

  • I do it a little different than most people, I just try to do an all out set to complete failure, strong man style. And also try and get one more rep than I did last time with that particular weight. But I also try not to take to long, so I time myself on the set.

    I'm not gonna lie, there is a little strategy involved when I take the small breaks in order to break my last PR.

    I don't wear shorts because I train during my lunch, it is only 30 min, no time to waste changing clothes.

  • I take that back..I just watched the video with the other guy doing it for 1 rep and when the camera angle changes its 365...so 23 reps is crazy!

  • I just did 365 x 24 recently, with a better camera angle, check it out.

  • thats a legit set of 23, props. you could probably do 600+ if you trained specifically for it, but why? when in life, other than the NFL, do you need to deadlift 365 for more than 1, let alone 23 (stupid rhetorical question, answer never)? keep up the good work. no skinned shins with the pants, if you are prone to them.

  • @bigrey15 That can't be right... He could keep his hands on the bar for 2 mins then and call it the same set. I would consider your logic if he was resting while erect with the bar in his hands, but not on the ground.

  • I LOVE this dude's vids. every one is more superhuman than the one before.

  • Actually it counts as one set of 23 reps because he keeps his hands on the bar. If he takes his hands out then you can say couple sets with very little rest.
