one thing know one seems to point out. Is that in the first movie the rats were just as smart as modern humans. and they had things like elivators and elcticty. and in this one there living in shity little wooden houses. avery serius throw back if you ask me.

Actually it was made without his consent.
Whats even more odd is when he was interviewed and asked about directing a sequel he said that, had he taken on the project, he would have made Timmy the villain and Martin the hero.
