In his quarter century of working in Silicon Valley at such companies as Apple, @Home, and Google, CMC Alum Jonathan Rosenberg has had ample opportunity to watch successful people in action. He will share his observations on what makes great people tick and draw conclusions on how a liberal arts education can arm the next generation of leaders. His talk will include a set of "rules" that promise to be excellent preparation for any student who plan at some point to enter the real world.

  • I tested Jonathan with his claim to respond quickly to e-mail.

    He responded within 120 seconds.

  • This was good sound business principles speech. He touched on so many points from diversity, general managers and learning from failures. What I liked most were the way he used common sense principles. In my opinion, one can use all the charisma ,gifts, learned knowledge and skills, they may have, but without some command sense. Most of it does not make sense. Very good job at keeping the crowds attention using humor to keep them focused.

  • learning to interact, interact to learn

You are as good as your boss thinks

world is bad because u see it that way

Bottom line: apply as much as u can for your good, rest is crap for u

  • Where's the data for his talk? Or are they all "I think" opinions, the very thing he despises?

  • I woke up 39:15 minutes ago (it's 6:51am), very refreshing talk. Talks like these often show us how business is closely related to life itself

  • @MistahhB so did I, he responded in 5:12 with the and intro to the head of YouTube!

  • it's so nasty that this appears as a related video on mines where it's absolutely unrelated >:/

  • His voice annoys me deeply. Every single one of sentences ends with this really high pitched enunciation.

  • what exactly is the difference between bullying and penguin pecking @27:43? what you say? there is none? how can this be? don't do evil? errr... right!

to be successful, just bully who gets in your way? WTF!

"The way to get rid of the bad eggs, to keep the people who have the most impact the happiest, is penguin pecking. You get all the people who don't like somebody to start pecking..."

there is so much wrong with this statement, on so many levels.

    what a disgrace!
