  • definitely stop the auto reflex thinking but consider your brilliant ideas may be a flop or just not as good as someone else's idea. There should be a series of tests you can take to earn a college degree. Because clearly some people don't need it.

  • WHERE IS THIS billionaire? I have an idea.....let me at him!!! Contact me! now!

  • This is so true, the people who established these massive corporations were not highly educated people. And to be quite honest I am sick of hearing of buddies coming out of University..and educated to the 9's but employers say they are "over qualified" ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!! Something, for sure, went wrong in our society down the line...

  • The problem is as technology has made much of human life much easier the wealth of these efficiencies are only accruing to a few who have gamed the system. (Think despots in thrid world and the above the law elitists in the western Corporatocracy. When this bifurcation becomes too pronounced you get revolution.

Hypothetically, technology improvements in virtually every facet of industry should enable more leisure time and higher quality of life to accrue to all mankind.

  • Jim needs to worry about having too efficient of a disruptive technology advance that causes him to be the target of a variety of industry cartels that would be unduly impacted financially if he creates something too efficient.

Many inventions are suppressed to maintain a status quo in our current hegemonic political military industrial financial system. It is a values issue - we have a system that worships the "dollar" with a mentality shown in "How Much Land does One Man Need? by Tolstoy.

  • college is a scam, wake up people..I have my own business all without a college degree. Do what you love not what society tells you to do. All that stuff about making more it's bullshit, it's all propaganda that they use to make you believe that shit and keep you under society mind control.

  • The monatary system doesnt work. It time to scap it.

  • i am so gland someone like him says things. because guess what? it is the truth.

  • @12Ominous what does this have to with college? I dont understand what your point is?

  • @DiomedesStrosMkai Definitely, it's just not practical and its wasteful in every sense of the word. The only sensible argument I keep hearing is the ulterior motive argument - just go so you can get a better job afterwards, or more vomit inducing, you can't get a good job without a degree. Not only is this dishonest, silly and cowardly (in my opinion) but it is now officially a risk in and out of itself. There is no longer a guarantee of a high paying job afterwards.
