  • He IS the man. I'd like to work with him on something so I don't want to piss him off somehow. I will try to post soon, perhaps with a brief interview.

  • No. Villa Montalvo. Saratoga.

  • that sudden ending is incredible.

  • This dude is a monster. Period!!

  • Gorgeous-ness!! Please, can someone tell me when and where this concert was?? thanks,

  • He's a percussionist, period. Many dancers are NOT impressed at all by this "jammin" style. It's a very limited niche. Even Fayard Nicholas lamented the fact that Glover just hangs over the ground. Like he's got "anger issues with the floor."

Give me Eddie Brown, Sandman Sims, Buck & Bubbles and the rest any day.

  • One thing about history, you only get better by observing from your predecessors. To me this is not that someone is better than the other, merely that they took from them the roots of what their doing & perfected their own style. It's like saying the student is better than they Masters. Love Savion, my brother!

  • SOOO WELL PUT! *stands in applauds your analogy!*

  • "Thats like saying , someone basketball player coming up is going to blow Michael Jordan out the waters." Savion is the Michael Jordan of tap, right. Hines was "only" the Dr. J of tap. Seriously. (And I love Dr. J.)

  • No....we didnt get the names of the musicians either. But the duels were incredible when he introduced them...and while I may not remember their names...I will always remember them.

  • AMEN! Watching the man hoof is like seeing God, up close and in person. He makes it look so effortless....like any one of us could get up and do it...and then u remember that u have trouble placing one foot in front of the other from time to time.

  • I was lucky enough to catch this show when he came to my home town.....it was absolutely the.best.show.i have EVER seen. He is so humble....so talented...so onpoint....and somehow the people next to me fell asleep and snored through the whole thing. I would love to see him again......thanks for putting this up...now I will have a peice of it with me forever. Heres to Savion
