If Turkey joins the European Union... Well... In the short-term in would be great, but in the long-term (100s of years), muslims will take over, destroy our culture, many rights will be taken away (from Jews, women, and even Christians), and it will be Ottoman Empire all over again. Most of the Europeans (white christians) would probably immigrate to United States, Canada, or even Russia just like Christians immigrated to Greece when Ottomans took over Turkey. History will repeat itself.
