Surfboard making: Adding relief cuts into the fibreglass for ease of lamination. Relief cuts will aid in helping the fibreglass wrap around onto the surfboard.

  • All those relief cuts along the rail are completely unnecessary and greatly reduce the the strength of the board. They probably break a ton of boards!

  • You don't need relief cuts makes the board weaker .Clean that garage up!

  • Epoxy resin which you can recommend us white area that is resistant to sun and chrome, which can be durable in some years, which may clear color change and not yellow?

  • you can get away with a cut in the nose section and one at each corner of the tail.  looks like 4-6 oz. cute sparkles guys...

  • Unless that is 8 oz. you do not need releif cuts you can wrap by working in 1/4's
