wilco is a great american band, they give the rest of us inspiration. Their music has definitely influenced my music writing

Great show! Pretty much everything I wanted to hear from them & it was such a beautiful day..I do wish Tweedy would have rocked a NUDIE SUIT tho..

Saw them in may in sevilla Spain, can't wait to see them again in november in Brussels Belgium... Son Volt and those other bands Tweedy played in were his first attemps. Wilco is now an absolute mature band ( at least someone payed tribute to George Harrison if you listen to "You never know").. and i must admit i hadn't had so much fun to listen to a band since Little Feat .... and the Jayhawks.

ohh thats not true at all. tweedy is one of the best song writers of all time, and look who he is playing with: glenn kotche for one thing and also nels cline, probably one of the best guitar players around. Farrar is talented, but tweedy excels at songwriting and his voice is a powerful a versatile addition to the band.

seriously, this wilco vs. son volt shit is so stupid. imo, wilco are one of the best american bands ever at this point, while son volt are simply a footnote
