My 60 Gallon Freshwater Setup

This is my collection of fishes. They have grown extremely fast, I have since sold off the 'platies, rainbows, and corys' because it was getting too crowded.

Video Cast:
(3) Parrot Cichlids (Natural coloration, not dyed)
(4) Clown Loaches
(1) Convict Cichlid
(1) Black Ghost Knife
(3) Australian Rainbow Fish
(1) Hi-Fin Pleco (of some kind)
(3) Red Swordtails
(2) Green Cory Catfish
(2) Upsidedown Catfish (not pictured)

Advice : NEVER buy Top Fin Heaters, I have had to replace mine 3 times so far. Marineland products are great, I have never had them give me trouble.

If I get 1 red blood parrot... Wud it be alright with neons mollies gouramis... Some other fish in my tank.? It's a bit crowded ATM but not as crowded as yours ( no offense ) and shud I get a male or female ???

That tank has only the parrots and that Pleco right now because of how big they got. They can get up to 10 inches, and they will grow fast. If you do put a parrot with small fish, purchase a small parrot (Petsmart sells these, they will be grey in color but their color will change) and raise it with your other fish. It will eat smaller fish like neons though. I find it more enjoyable to have a tank with several in it by themselves, than to just have one with smaller fish.

M/F doesn't matter, you can't tell when they are babies anyways. Yeah I know this tank was crowded, I bought a bunch of fish as babies and they grew and grew and grew. But if you buy these fish make sure you avoid buying dyed or tattoed ones. I would suggest Petsmarts smaller sized grey parrots.

I love the set up! Everyone looks so happy and active. I recently got a parrot but he keeps shying away from me.

Mine were like that when I first got them, now they follow me around the room in their tank. Give it time.

Thank you! I got just about everything in that tank at Petsmart because I used to work there. The vines hanging on the back are actually from the reptile section.
