John shows the Olympus Citrus Press. The Olympus is the new name for the OrangeX Commercial size juicer. It boats an even higher glass clearance than the old OrangeX. Courtesy of http://www.discountjuicers.com/

  • Hi John, I just received the Jupiter Citrus Press (although I didn't order from you as I'm currently in Scotland). Admittedly, I've only used it once so far but when I bring the handle down, the juicer wants to tip forward.

I notice that you were placing your left hand on the top of the juicer during this video demo. Do you find this a necessary step to ensure the juicer remains stable?

  • the unit should stay stable on the counterop when the handle is up and down. I put my hand on the top when making this video because the table was shakey and I didnt want it to move. I have the juicer on my granite countertop in the kitchen, and it is stable with no need to hold the juicer. Check the adjustments on the suction cup feet, maybe they are not adjusted properly.

  • Is this juicer the same as the Jupiter Juice Press? If not, which one is better? Also, there was a mess after you finished juicing the oranges; is that always the case?

  • Yes, it is the same except the Jupiter is a smaller version of the Olympus. They work the same. The larger one allows a larger cup to to be put underneath. The table I was on was shaking, and wobly, plus I was moving fast.. Which caused the glass to spill. There is not normally a mess.

  • What a great and durable juicer.

John, do you know how well this juicer does on pulp?

  • How well it does on pulp? Im not understanding the question.

    If you are asking:

Does this juice pulpy fruits (ie: overripes?).. No, not well, it will then make a really pulpy juice

Does this make a pulpy juice with normal citrus? It does contain some pulp, but is not that pulpy.

  • Now you need something that would cut the oranges faster and more efficient.

  • John, have you had a chance to review a new juicer, Juicepresso, yet? I very much trust your reviews.

  • Hey John,

Why don't you ship to Canada anymore? I bought a Greenstar from you several years ago with no problems. Now I have to find this juicer elsewhere. Great video anyway!

  • I like the porn shots at 2:50.... Juicy

  • @rawfoods I was referring to the latter.

    Thanks so much
