This is a tribute to the 11 men missing from the Deepwater Horizon. I did not make this video but I did feel it needed to be up for the world to see. Oilfield workers catch a bad wrap but most don't understand it is a way of life for us and once in a while some of our brothers pay the ultimate sacrifice. The song is by Trace Adkins, it's called Missing You. Trace used to work for Transocean so it is fitting that his song speaks well about what we go through. • rip karl miss you cuz

  • The industry could care less about the joes that work day and night so we can drive our merces and bmws

  • I hope the industry learns quickly to make sure this never happens again.

The big money the oil firms make should go towards making the industry safer in pursuit of the difficult challenges the workers have to deliver. Condolences to all the families relatives and colleagues who lost loved ones

  • I went on many trips to work on the horizon and I remember those guys who perished that night. Sometimes I even dream that I am walking into that galley to eat a meal or walking up the stairs to go from the living quarters to to the outside area and spinning the wheel on the door to lock it closed. RIP you guys...your shift is over........

  • god bless the families and help them get through it all. i met those guys a couple times good guys. hate loosing fellow rig hands. later guys. joe kustom roughneck.

  • Worked out there when it was Sonat Offshore 89 to 94.So I can relate to the loss, the hurt and pain.Thought about the 11 that left us.How my wife would suffer if it would have been me.Hurts like Hell.So sad.Its up to us to remember them.Try to live the dreams they dreamed and do the things wanted to do in life.

  • @TrickeyJew If you think your comment was funny...think again!!! My brother was killed in that explosion & to have a heartless jerk-off make a comment mocking them is just shallow!

  • RIP brothers
