-
I think that you are an amazing rider and that you should ignore all the people who send you bad comments. i didnt see anything wrong at all ?? then i came to make a comment and saww all of the bad ones, i thought that it was really unfair :) x
-
same goes for you, i think that that was also a very innapropriate comment to make
-
@Frithaful i think that that was a very innapropriate comment to make.
-
nice horse tho :D
-
okayyyy kep more upright that was prob y he was so slow is because u were unbalanced on him and so was he i mean sometimes u can be unbalanced without even knowing it and the horse gets unbalanced etc
-
Oh gosh...
-
Yeah. These people suck.
-
this was a very annoying video for me to watch. The bad riding, the instructor and her manish like yelling and the irritating girl behind the camera was all to much for this chica.
-
ok you are all so mean. this was obviously made for entertainment purpose only!!! gosh this is really sad to see people saying this about another rider because i bet none of you were any better then this when you started riding not that she is bad either! so why not keep your mouth to yourselves and let her and her trainer deal with the problems not you. dont listen to the haters just keep riding you are a great rider.
-
in case u guys havnt noticed... U WERE NOT THERE, so just shut up and watch this is for entertainment not for you to tell her what she did wrong
she was told to get after him:/
-
You shouldn't have slapped him. The duck out was YOUR FAULT
Not the horse's...
There no undoing what you did, but if I were you I would have just patted him, turned and cantered back. If I felt him starting to duck out I would have tapped him with the crop.
• but on the bright side, you have great 2-point
-
@CharlieOscar100 yep totally agree there :)
-
- you hit him to late, so now he will think when he stands still he will yet a smack.
- of course he can feel you wack him, otherwise there would be no point of having a whip.
- i agree with everything, Frithaful and ThundersRose just said.
sorry but its all true.
-
horse doesnt need a whip he is really forward...how about a few rails before the jumps...and change trainers that kid isnt even ready to be jumping shes all over the saddle.
-
for godsake all you lot are all fucking talk, clicked on most your channels and most of you don't even have any videos. bet you ride like shit or not at all, so shut up. you rode well, he looks quite hard to ride. and you did smack him abit late when he stopped, but i'm sure you havent made him assosiate jumps with fear, dont worry, :)
-
DUUUDE watch that you dont have all your weight on that poor horses neck. and look up for god's sake.
-
0:43 look at her position when the horse stopped. She was leaning forward looking down, and had all her weight shifted forward. In order to have a good ride to a jump, you need to have weight in your heels and be looking straight ahead! She didn't ride him well at all to the fence which resulted in a refusal. And please people, don't be immature and attack for no reason at my comment. Its simply my opinion. But I'm sure she has improved greatly from then to now ;)
-
First off you don't know what this horse is like to ride
secondly It was her actual instructor that told her to hit him
thirdly, Horses are smarter than you all think. He knows what he did and he got a wack for it, and guess what, it worked!! isn't that clever???
Oh BTW horses cant actually feel a fly land on them, it just irritates horses when a fly goes near their eye, do you know why? because horse have thick skin. a whip is enough to shock him.
-
@Frithaful 1. she spanked him for not doing what she asked
2. they DO know what the rider wants and does NOT want
3. she is a great rider and u have NO right to be righting this
okay bu bye :D
-
UUm ok first of all, I can't believe the horse wasn't spooking because of all the YELLING! Geesh! Second, the reason the horse stopped was because of it's rider, try not to put all your wait on him when you go over the jump. It's to much wait on him so he can't go over it right. Thirdly, yes, I ride with a whip and spurs (My pony is a butthead but I love her! ;)) But you never want to beat the horse with the crop it echos! And if you were to use the crop for one refusal jst a tap thebutt
-
I don't know why everybody is getting on this rider's case when she is simply the victim of bad advice on behalf of her instructor. At least the girl is getting lessons and not just happy with being an ignorant rider.
In any case, this was a long time ago and I'm sure she would have improved a great deal since this video and hopefully gotten an instructor who is able to give her some better advice!! Good student but not a very good instructor (IMO!!)
-
@TulipsKiss11 She was sitting there and flapping, with her legs, with spurs. It was a rider error that caused the horse to refuse, not the horses fault the horse is getting punished when he hasn't done anything. Anyway I don't really think the rider cares what everyone else thinks so constant debating on how amazing she is, how the whip doesnt hurt (what's the point of it then if people truly believe it doesnt hurt?) and vice versa, is kind of pointless
-
Leave her alone! Shes a good rider and he/She was being naughty, what was she ment to do sit there and flap ?
Ahorse can feel a fly land on him of course he can feel the whip. You have most likely deadened him to the leg from your constant nagging, your upper body was collapsing over him, you do indeed have an amazing horse for putting up with you, what gives you the right to hit him like that? Horses do not know that a certain action produces a certain response they do not think like us, they make associations, he will now associate jumps with fear. Well done

Its not about whether whips hurt or don't hurt its the fact you used it on him about 10 seconds after the refusal which was a refusal due to your own riding. You were in fact hitting him for simply standing still.
