That the thing about hitting rise ball. very rarely are they thrown for strikes. The best was and I mean the best way to hit a rise ball is not to swing at it. But if you have to swing at it make sure that your hands are above the ball!!!!

Iv been in the Minors for 5 years now and i graduated in 2005 from high school and my Senior year is when they started this. And we still use it today. Good way for quicker hands and more explosive hips.

wake up everyone, the game of fastpitch has evolved. The days of swinging down and trying to beat out grounders are over,it's a power game now just look at the scores in the last WCWS. As for the riseball, if you keep your hands on plane you won't have any problems.
