I was at the Tchaikovsky concert hall, in Moscow, some 15 years ago, when Igor took his audience (not for the first time, sure) to this "Voyage to the blues", and that was like God of blues and boogie was with us. There have been other remarkable blues pianists in Russia, too. But Igor is no doubt #1. He's Oscar Peterson on this post-communist side of the globe.
