Blackberry 8700g LCD replacement/reassembly secrets

Some things the other PDA/LCD screen replacement videos left out. Why not tell of two clips that are essential to taking the back off? Why only show and tell about the take apart? Then nothing of putting it back together. So heres some tips I learned the hard way. Good Luck. I hope this helps.

Thank you so much! I'm glad I didn't break it open before I learned to jack open that panel by pushing down on those tabs! Now I can replace the housing on my handset and auction it on ebay... :)

it does'nt for me, I removed all screws but the tabs are stick in place. Can anybody help me ?

Very good, thanks, however, at the beginning the voiceover states "Blackberry 7800g", a slip of the tongue of course, but could be confusing. Thanks again for the post.

i wish i would have seen this before my experience. the ribbon i pulled out without lifting up on the release....anyone know how to fix?
