@linda1986r : there are a lot of youtube step-by-step tutorials for paper mache pinatas (just do a search for 'how to make a pinata') or even a google search will yield a lot of info. Then you can come back here and see the basic shape that I created (out of balloons that you later pop when the paper mache is dry)...then finish up with colored napkins cut into a fringe...good luck!

The basic form can be made from recycled newspapers (with watered-down Elmer's glue) draped onto balloons, but the final layer can be either painted white with inexpensive craft paint, or save up a bunch of used white paper towels torn into strips, or save some discarded computer paper from the office (torn into 1" strips) for the final layer. Then the 'fringe fur' can be cut from colorful party napkins, or tissue paper! Good luck!
