@jenni4claire Actually unlike many opera fans, I find passion the most important thing about singing. He is the best tenor singing the french rep in my opinion.

Bravo Alagna! He has allowed his voice some rest recently and is sounding superbly sublime again and even here his voice sounds less strained. And I agree with the comment made above that no matter what the criticism of him has been, the fact is that he is still employed by the best opera houses around the world and he is still bringing beauty and great artistry to the opera world.

Bravo Roberto Alagna , Beautifully sung . This has not been my favourite voice when younger , too much of a sawgrate , but much improvement has been achieved , well done , lovely .

Adovo la evve di Roberto :) bellissimo il pianissimo di je m'énivrais !!!

When I first saw a picture of him, I said to myself, "if his voice is anything like his hair, he must be amazing". Yeah, amazing.

One of the best tenors of our time and my personal favourite!:) He not only has a beautiful voice and distinct tone, but is also a gifted actor (something that sadly I cannot say about that many tenors in particular, even if they might be otherwise great singers) and a very charming and intelligent man. Thank you, Roberto! :)
