This solo plays in my head all the time.

One of my favorite solos by Frank.
I've had this bootleg on vinyl for nearly 30 years, called Toxic Shock.
Thanks for posting this.

There is a biopic about Frank Zappa in the making. Heard it on the H-wood grape wine. True?

Great tune ! nice live recording of Frank and band from this era. No one can say these guys couldn't play great stuff live ! saw him a bunch of times and sometimes the hall sucked for acoustics but the band never did !

@whatsnewinbaltimore4 its still f-ing great. Take it from someone who doubted ZPZ at first. I'm going to see them a second time in Philly after they blew me away in Atlantic City.

@docbab There is an absolutely killer version of 'Baltimore? by the '84 band on the CD of Does Humor Belong in Music.

:O This is the first time I have heard this version and it is incredible! I know what piece I am doing for University recitals now ;)

Drowning Witch is on Ship Arriving Too Late To Save A Drowning Witch
What's New In Baltimore is on Frank Zappa Meets The Mothers Of Prevention
and Moggio is on Man From Utopia
I really wish the Zappa clan would release this show in it's entirety. I have an awesome bootleg which has the entire Drowning Witch/What's New In Baltimore/Moggio suite, which has never been given a proper official release. Oh sure, the individual pieces appear on various releases, but I would love to see them release a show from 81 where those three pieces were segued together, sounding like one big piece of music.
