@nintendomaster24 That aggravates me so much. I have asked repeatedly on dozens of videos. We are only left to assume that the game ended in a resignation, although no mention of it occurs on chess websites for this game. UGH!!

@diazdeleon2009 Kasparov. The whole Kasparov vs Anand, 1995 New York City match is on chessgames . com

Anand's not black; he's Indian.

Someone please explain why the game ends so abruptly?

This is actually Game 10 of the World Chess Championship match held at the World Trade Center in September 1995.

No one is born with knowledge. Some people are naturally gifted in that they can gain knowledge more efficiently and build on their knowledge more than the average person. Some people can apply their knowledge better than others. Nevertheless, put a chess board in front of a five year old without him knowing the rules. I assure you, he will not have knowledge of the game. Sheesh. Now go play chess.

wow, just wow.
Kasparov's rook sac was beautiful. And Anand's defense amazing as well.
but man that rook sac gave a lot position advantage that Anand couldn't get back
what a great match
