  • I disagree with most of the comments.

    This is funeral music for all the characters that died.

    Remember that Zion had only a few days' warning, and they were facing an invasion force the same size as their entire population. They had no real chance to begin with.

  • The only bad thing about the whole battle was that Zion WASN'T destroyed. The humans basically deserved to be destroyed in the real world. But the machines were merciful, to an extent, and didn't crush them like they should have.
