It's sad but Tom has every right to be cynical. We can't even imagine what it's like to be fucked over by multiple record labels & distro companies & let down by band mates repeatedly over a 20+year music career. He had a sense of humor when I met him in 2006. It's mostly w/ interviewers or fans that ask stupid questions(ie."Why'd you do Cold Lake?") that he acts negative. He wrote a book years ago & has been having to answer that question for years. I don't blame him for getting pissed.

One thing i do notice. Is Tom is much more happier in these days. Nowadays hes bitter and very angry in most his interviews.

tom may be more bitter towards the press nowdays not nesesarrily just in general more or less towards the press and music industry. he's actually a pretty humble guy if you meet him after a tryptikon show nowadays.

@Pagantones Well a combination of all other albums is still original. If they only had influence from lets sayyy just to mega therion in the album, that would be un-original. But if the album has influences from all the other albums that makes it a pretty different album. Even monotheist has alot of old Celtic frost influence, yet it is a completely original album. I think he is saying the same thing, just in different words.
