@kilroyzindahouse BY definition, a one hit wonder has to only have one hit. Tesla had 22 top 50 songs, and 4 top 10. 3 Platinum and 1 Gold album. I really how you seriously take a long hard look at what you call one hit.

I did not post to defend Tesla, they are only one of many one hit wonders from the 80's hair band days.

Although Jimmy Page needs no defense. Was kind of in a mood (aka Drunk) when I posted originally.

@kilroyzindahouse Dear sir ..the joke is on you ....because it was , indeed a joke - right down to the quite intended mispelt "annals" . - its taken from a brilliant british comic series called "the comic strip " "Bad News" was the band and it was full of witty and ironic scenes ..but then i remembered - you yanks dont do irony , subtlety ,..but just for your information - never judge a talent on how much it sells -just on content .

Otherwise katy perry is more awesome than tesla =not true
