Noah Shebib, better known as 40, has already made a massive impression on the world of Hip Hop in his young career. 40 exploded onto the scene in 2009 making mix tapes with a (previously) underground rapper known as Drake. His bravely individual production style, which is at times both lush and minimalistic, that has made 40 one of the most unique and exciting new talents the world of Hip Hop.

  • he's white! didn't see that coming, all love tho great producer

  • @mannofff LMAO if that's the case, then why is 40 wasting his talent on Drake's "terrible" rapping skills?

  • @cej1796 You don't like his other beats because they're mainstream?? That's like saying I don't like/acknowledge Michael Jordan as being one of the best players in history because he's bald.

  • True what he said about not needing the newest plugins or the biggest workspace these days, all you need is a laptop and a pair of monitors/cans and you're good to go.

  • @cej1796 Cameras was produced by Lex Luger.

  • awesome advice and very inspirational!

  • @ZeroBtown An M-Box is an audio interface that allows you to plug in XLR's and/or TRS (line/ instrument) inputs into your Pro Tools Native system. Without that, it's impossible to track into Pro Tools unless of course you have an HD rig. Before you invest in anything, I recommend you using a cheaper DAW 'til you get the hang of signal flow, seeing as PT's can be a little complicated for the less experienced user. I reccomend Reason, which you can then use as a plug-in in Pro Tools.

  • drake is bad 40 is good

  • @ZeroBtown go on avid.com it'll tell u everything
