There is no rational premise for a "designer" here. When you point out human and biological existence, well, you point our human and biological existence. You are speculating that there could be a designer, but thats all it is, speculation. There is no rational baring in this speculation, figuring it can't follow the scientific method that furthers the knowledge of mankind. The supernatural cannot be studied with naturalistic mean. It is, by definition, an unknown.

If the designer is not a supernatural entity, all the other choices have a problem: other designers must have been designed too. And this only moves the problem one step, but doesn't solve it. So according to ID the designer must be supernatural.

Intelligent design are code words dishonest Christians use when they really mean supernatural magic. Calling magic by another name doesn't make it any less childish.

@mgk786 What data for ID? It is an arguement for god, ''it looks designed'' or ''it is complex'' proves nothing. How does a snowflake know to be flat and have six sides? How does a rock know whick way to fall? The forces of nature. How does life work and evolve, the forces of nature.

HAHAHA. This was great.
Anyways, the thing about intelligence design is that it does not discount evolution. Creationism discounts evolution. And the beginning was a bit off; intelligent design does take in consideration natural selection, it just attributes major internal changes to the genepool to effects that cannot be explained by basic Darwinism. Suffice to say, scientist cannot discount ANY evidence for the origins of things they see in genetic research

Intelligent Design IS creationism.
If you haven't already seen the videos, intelligent design proponents just replaced "Creator" with "Designer" in "Of Pandas and People" with a global search and replace.
The Designer designs a living thing... then what happens? Does she then create the design? Is there a manufacturer? (see part II).
I think the answer the ID people would give if they were honest is that "After GOD designs the living thing, then he creates it". Bingo, creationism.
