A walk along the 13 mile section of the Offa's Dyke Path between Kington in Herefordshire and Knighton in Powys. The views on this walk are truly stupendous. There are also many fine sections of the actual Dyke on this section of the Path. Offa's Dyke dates from the 8th. Century and its construction was ordered by King Offa of Mercia (he was not a Welsh King as I wrongly state in my commentary to this video) as a defensive barrier between Wales and Mercia. The walk took place in truly glorious weather on Thursday 10 September 2009.
Makes great viewing. Lovely ! I want to live round there one day !
