I don't know we're beating people up and collecting artifacts or whatever.
Seems like a decently average beat em up.

  • Regardless of which console or cabinet you go to, Double Dragon 3 will always be shitty-shitty-bad-bad.

    @piplup10203854:

    And, if you're talking about the NES versions, River City Ransom was better than any of the Double Dragons in every concievable way.

  • RCR was one of the few beat em ups i actually enjoyed, the first time through anyway, even if it was just grinding. Most of them are all the same more or less, though I did like the first NES double dragon too, despite it being way the shit too hard.

  • Head stomping for fun and profit!

    I dunno, I've played a few beat-em-ups in my time, and this one doesn't look very good.

  • Zeta, did you notice the "Delete.me" file on your Genesis folder? (Might be too late for that, I'm watching your videos in order ^-^;) (also, the game with Tar-chan is not in the Chronological order list, but got it thanks to related videos).

  • wooh new youtube player.

  • this game is "garbitch"

  • That jumping animation is rather amusing.

  • 1 and 2 are the ones to play in this series. They really did along with the TMNT, SOR GA & FF series relelutionised the genre.

  • @ZetaPlays

    Yeah, RCR was pretty awesome. The controls were simple, yet fluid (except for the fact you had to press A+B to jump), and it was the first game I ever saw that was kind of open and not strictly stage-based. But, in my opinion, it was the frickin' art style that made it godly.

    And Double Dragon 3 for the NES will always hold a special place in my heart for the infamous "BIMMY AND JIMMY" line.

  • Everyone looks like they got punched in the face in the cutscene.

  • Oh, they actually fixed the "Bimmy and Jimmy" typo for this version.
