Tanya Chua at Asia Song Festival 2006

The pride of Singapore. :D Honestly, I thought she was the best performer vocally at the concert. Her performance was good, but the introduction by this Singaporean dressed in Korean costume was quite, no, very unnecessary and "duh". But Tanya did great, performing a new song, Beautiful Love and Tell Her (not new).

I remember attending Tanya Chua's first concert at University Cultural Centre, NUS in 2004. She was selling her third English album, Drops of Jupiter. I recalled Tanya saying on stage that she was disillusioned by singing other people's song and wanted to take a break. She has put that behind her and came back stronger with better songs written by herself. Congrats Tanya. :)
