I'm new to this, and also I'm Swedish, so bare with me while I struggle with the English language trying to convey some thoughts! I forgot some of my points I wanted to make, I guess next time I'll script my monologue instead of winging it.

The video I'm refering to is this one:

It's part of a series of clips showing a debate.

  • Your video is quite interesting, and as non-native English speaker I think your attempt to argue such a complex topic as this in this language is quite admirable.

Nevertheless, you are only assuming that other universes and dimensions exist, not providing any evidence for this claim. You state it yourself "We just don't know", reason why your argument is not sufficient to refute fine tuning.

  • @Mvillano13 I agree, the arguments presented in this video does not refute fine tuning, the aim was to loosen up the grasp some theists have around fine tuning. A lot of theists think life is special (rare) to planet earth. Now, compared to the observable Universe, our planet isn't even a speck of dust. So, I find the argument that our universe is fine tuned for life quite puzzling in itself. I can imagine a universe setup in such a way that life is common, but still wouldn't call it fine tuned.

  • Interesting video! The fine tuning argument is probabilistic based. It doesn't try to appeal to what we know with certainty, as you seem to suggests that it must do in order for the argument to be sound.

Your argument aside, your English is pretty good, actually. Your accent wasn't so strong that it made it hard to understand what words you were saying, as is sometimes the case with other videos in which English is being spoken as a foreign language.

  • @Christianjr4 Glad to hear your input on my English, I did mess up some of the words, but I just repeated until I got it where I was satisfied, and as you probably saw(or did not see), I edited those parts out :) And I bet some of the grammar is wrong, like when to use "a" or "an". But I've got some practice during my vacations in the US :)

  • @VillageAtheist your reasoning (analogy) has a flaw. You use to explain yourself variables WITHIN our universe. But you cannot warranty that any tipe of constants or forces could manifest OUTSIDE this universe. Theses asumptions makes equally probable or equialy reazonable the existence of GOD
