Stacked marble at Marble, Colorado

These stacks of marble are located at Colorado Stone Quarries, Inc in Marble, Colorado. Marble, Colorado is located about 185 miles (300 kilometres) southwest of Denver, Colorado in the Rocky Mountains. The town sits at an elevation of 7,992 feet (2,436 metres) and is famous for the marble it has supplied the Tomb of the Unknowns, parts of the Lincoln Memorial, and other buildings and structures around the world.
