Chemotherapy: Mother Died After Chemo for Breast Cancer

Patient is a 35-year-old female. In February 2011, she found a lump in her right breast. She underwent a lumpectomy. It was an invasive ductal carcinoma. She was asked to undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy. She refused and came to CA Care on 15 March 2011. She said, "My mother had already passed away. She was only 56 years old when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. After surgery, she did chemotherapy in Singapore (cancer spread to her liver), then in Johore Baru and then in Kuala Lumpur. Then she came back to Johore Baru, waited for her time and died. Before that, she was strong and okay.
