I just thought I'd let you know that I have been watching your bass lessons, and bass lines for a couple of years now and I really appreciate you posting these videos for everyone to see. They make an amazing learning tool, and they really helped me out in my early learning stages of bass. You're much appreciated!! :D

At first, I thought not many people who think of the bass as more than just a background instument, but I can see now that there are many others who thinks so, too. Thanks for the videos.

For those have difficulty:
At first, I thought "I will NEVER be able to do this!"
I'm very new to slap bass, and I thought I wouldn't be able to do it
BUT, for around two days I remembered the notes and rhythm, and now I can just about do it :]
Just stay positive, and start of REALLY slow

Hell yeah dude! Nice Pulp Fiction shirt. It'd be even better if Samuel L. had a little speech bubble that said, "mothafucka".

@nialho I dont use a script, its purely improvising, so sometimes i "fumble" for the right words in english:-)

@MarloweDK actually, when I watched this video I noticed an imrovment in your pronunciation. I think your English has gotten more natural since a year or so ago. Just out of curiosity, do you find learning an instrument similar to learning a language?

@morrissteven Thanks:-) Yes I sort of compare learning to improvise to learning a language. You start with words (phrases , licks) and get better at putting sentences (solos, fills, basslines) together
