HP Envy 14 Initial Impressions

Initial impressions of the HP Envy 14 after using it for ~5 days. In this video I show you the "unique" feature of the Envy 14 to output video to 2 external monitors at once. By popular request I also compare the Envy 14 to the Apple Macbook Pro 13 a bit more in depth (thickness, screen, etc.). I also discuss a recent HP $100 price increase for the Envy 14 (with the 1600x900 Radiance Display), Common out-of-the-box build-quality issues are also discussed to give you a "pseudo-checklist" to go through when you receive your Envy 14 to check for build-quality issues. Finally, I discuss how HP shipping the ATI/AMD Radeon HD 5650 video card "underclocked" as compared to other laptops. Sorry about the phone ringning towards the end of the video!

I'm surprised that Mac fans are not going nuts right now, especially about the looks. When you put it side by side, I honestly think it looks tottally different. The envy looks way better. Mac fans always resort to the looks and price. Personally, I can't see the similarities. as for the price, if you want to spend more money for the logo( because that's all your paying extra for), it's your money. Face it mac, there are other companies besides apple and they are buildig better machines as well

for me it's a great computer in terms of performance and gaming and sleek design but a little bit expensive though.

But if you want a computer that can run two OS legally then purchase the macbook pro or you want to play games on a mid and high resolution and don't mind the high price for the envy 14 then get it but before you spend hard earned cash just check on prices on both of these computers and sometimes I have seen the latest macbook pro 13 2011 model cheaper then the envy 14

@SupaMDeez They are fun games well but you need to buy the 15" that is around 1800 dlls lus taxes. With that money you can buy better stuff. I like mac, they quality, os, build in architecture but they are way overpriced.
