once, in 2004, i saw pinback play somewhere in oakland or emeryville or one of those places that runs together on the edge of the bay. in a warehouse. i was pretty close to the stage but there was this other guy who was right front and center who was literally beating his body against the stage in time with the chorus. it would have been weird except this song is just that epic.
