@bumppatrol i was wondering is it recommended to shave against the grain after your second pass?

@gomarcphil do you exfoliate your beard afew times a week? meaning if you shave in the morning, exfoliate at night and do this every other day. it does help greatly. im like you thoe i still get in grown hairs time to time and i use a electric shaver but exfoliating does work. you just have to do it more often, beard area only

What a helpful upload. Quick, and to the point, we like the "four T's" concept and firmly believe in using only the best of tools to shave. The technology used in our razors is one of the reasons why our tool gets the job done better.

thanks for taking the time to address this issue. unfortunately some people simply cannot safely use razors. I am one of them. I have tried all the so called "correct" techniques for eliminating razor bumps while shaving and they simply do not work. I've tried shaving using similar techniques 3 times in my life and have given up. I use hair clippers and while they don't eliminate bumps 100% I get 90% less bumps than I would using the techniques you describe

Try the andis profoil shaver it's hypoallergenic so it can be used on all skin types and it gives a very close shave.
@rcaw1975: Yeah, he is one of our key dermatological team members here at Bump Patrol. Plus the man is smooth as can be...

Different strokes for different folks... everyone's skin is different. What is important is that you found a solution and got your Swagger back!

What if I use an electric shaver? I'm using an Andis T-Outliner and I still get bumps. I also use Bump Patrol aftershave original version and it drys my skin out considerably. So much that my skin peels. What should I do?

@Xxsucram89xX first of all good shaver choice... for the drying out, try using our Sensitive Formula and applying a little tea tree oil after you use the aftershave. Also, if you aren't already - start shaving in the shower and prepping your face with water + heat STAT!
