Started off as doggerel poetry salvaged from my late teens, ended up as a song. Recorded on my scenic veranda while my jolly joy boy Ahau was dancing and yelling in front of a Walt Disney cartoon...

I would like to invite you to come over one weekend to record a few songs in our home studio. We have a full studio with a Perception 200 Condenser Microphone, miked up acoustic drums, Bass- Acoustic and Electric guitars and soon an awesome keyboard to use. I am using Cubase for recording and the Digital Yamaha N12 Mixer.

A topnotch jazz bassist would do wonders for this number. I appplied for a grant from a Dutch cultural fund but too bad it didn't come through. With cash in hand I can pay sessionists and engineers. have learnt from past experience that getting "professional" results means actually paying people! :-) Thanks very much for your kind offer, Dennis. Thinking about it, but Singapore seems a bit far to travel right now... :-)
