i got my PM to run off my solar panel...
The voltage stabilised at 14.4V drawing ~60mA
unfortunatly the clouds came out befor i could do a vid... so after that i didn't bother...

what voltage does the cap sit at while it's running? have you measured the voltage of the output spikes?

A motor with no torque. Wonderful.

exxxxxxxxx----Well---It is really not a motor at all. That is an unfortunate name placed on this device. There is some torque but that is not the purpose here. It is really a mechanical switching device. I have moved on to solid state circuits with the no moving parts. The chargers that John Bedini sells are all solid state.

What is the capacitor rated in Farads, thanks much for your videos.

That is a 300v/30,000uf capacitor. I'm glad that you enjoy my videos. Lots of fun doing these experiments and sharing them.

Hi, The cap sits at 6 to 7volts depending on the sun. The output on the SSG is normal. It charges up a big cap to hundreds of volts or it charges a 12volt battery. Why all this happens is still a mystery to me. The solar panel is a 2watt (15V 135millamp)
