My SSG Lid Motor running on .09 amps. NO BATTERIES!! Just a small solar panel, a big capacitor, and putting back energy into the front.

  • A motor with no torque. Wonderful.

  • exxxxxxxxx----Well---It is really not a motor at all. That is an unfortunate name placed on this device. There is some torque but that is not the purpose here. It is really a mechanical switching device. I have moved on to solid state circuits with the no moving parts. The chargers that John Bedini sells are all solid state.

  • What is the capacitor rated in Farads, thanks much for your videos.

  • That is a 300v/30,000uf capacitor. I'm glad that you enjoy my videos. Lots of fun doing these experiments and sharing them.

  • Hi, The cap sits at 6 to 7volts depending on the sun. The output on the SSG is normal. It charges up a big cap to hundreds of volts or it charges a 12volt battery. Why all this happens is still a mystery to me. The solar panel is a 2watt (15V 135millamp)

  • i got my PM to run off my solar panel...

The voltage stabilised at 14.4V drawing ~60mA

unfortunatly the clouds came out befor i could do a vid... so after that i didn't bother...

  • what voltage does the cap sit at while it's running? have you measured the voltage of the output spikes?
