Hmm, this is kind of confusing... Once you let go of the fortune cookie it will probably lose it's shape and go back to a round again... Are you supposed to sew it up to keep it together?

I can't get the stitches to be close enough together. How did you get yours so tightly crocheted? My cookie looks poofy and slighty like swiss cheese.

A much smaller hook size will make smaller, tighter stitches
