html5 will succeed as its currently planned to use ogg theora, which is open source and not propietary, meaning it can run on anything its been ported too ;p

@demoflare LOL! Linux is like 1 percent of the market. They're not gonna waste their time. We do need an open source alternative though. Hopefully HTML 5 will put that to death.

flash is always terrible on linux, especially on x86_64 architechtures, blame adobe for being propietary bitches!
gnash is a good alternative, but sometimes videos can be buggy.

Linux Mint Fluxbox is EXTREMELY buggy. A few apps won't work very well, and flash performance is terrible.
